Sunrise has released the first trailer for its newest mecha-themed Japanese anime series called "Buddy Complex" which is due to air January 2014.
For those that love watching mecha-themed anime series, one can look forward to Sunrise's new upcoming series called “Buddy Complex.” The first promotional trailer for the upcoming series has been made available for viewing. Buddy Complex will premiere on January 5, 2014. If you live in Japan, you can watch it on the Tokyo MX channel. However, if you're online, you can still watch the series which will be made available via streaming on the Bandai Channel. It is unknown if this will be made available to North America via online sites such as Crunchyroll or Hulu.
Buddy Complex, while is a mecha-themed series, focuses on the growing friendship between protagonists Watase Aoba (a high school student) and ace pilot Jyunyou Dio Weinberg. Their friendship begins when a mecha pilot one day shows up at Aoba's school with the intent to kill him. The Anime News Network (ANN) article that reports on Buddy Complex also has a list of other important cast members.
